The President of DeKind Computer Consultants is an experienced manager and trainer. DeKind Computer Consultants benefits from Brian’s bold leadership, expert problem solving skills and his many years of management, technical design and service experience. Brian’s critical expertise in technical design and training is a genuine service to clients of all sizes. His affable personality and sincere interest in his clients has earned Brian the respect and trust of small businesses, mid-sized enterprises, large corporations and government organizations that have come to rely on his “can do” attitude and dependable service.

Brian is also rooted in the communities where he lives and works, serving as a volunteer paramedic and Chief of the Antioch Rescue Squad, as well as previously serving as Vice President of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce. Committed to his company, his clients and his community, Brian looks forward to earning your confidence and your business.

Graduated with Honors from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate degree as a Computer Networking Specialist and is Microsoft and CompTia certified.

Mrs. DeKind has been in the IT field since 2005. She possesses the ability to organize and coordinate the work of the unit and explain instructions and guidelines to others effectively. Her areas of expertise include knowledge of the methods and techniques for setting up various systems, ability to identify and resolve problems associated with operating system malfunctions and hardware failures. With her vast experience, she performs assignments which are recognized as the most complex.

Nick has degrees in both Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. As CFO, Nick brings a wealth of financial expertise and strategic leadership to drive DeKind, as well as its clients, towards success. For over 5 years, he has been delivering strategic financial leadership to DeKind. Nick enjoys resolving highly complex financial barriers and working with clients to create annual IT budgets. When he is not working with numbers, he enjoys vacationing with his family, working on classic cars and outdoor activities.

Brian served in the United States Marine Corps for 5 years. Brian has been in IT for over a decade, with a wide range of technical experiences. During his free time Brian enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Jeremy brings extensive sales and service experience to our organization. His prior roles in hospitality, logistics, automotive, and manufacturing make him an ideal fit to help grow our diverse customer base. Jeremy uses his expertise to create tailored and creative solutions for all his client’s needs. Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his two young sons and anything that keeps him outdoors. Jeremy has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Valparaiso University.

Ryan brings a great deal of knowledge to the DeKind team. With a B.S. in Engineering and minor in Bioengineering from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, he is able to analyze and offer solutions quickly to keep your systems functioning.

Corinne has over 14 years’ experience in the graphic and web design field. As our lead designer, she is able to quickly analyze user requirements and provide solutions based on best practices. Corinne prides herself on being detailed-oriented, customer-focused, and agile.

Jakub graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Information Management Systems from Northwestern Business College and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Northeastern Illinois University.

Zach has grown up around computers all his life. From a young age, he was tinkering and learning. He graduated in 2017 from Hononegah Community High School and since has worked in the IT Field. Zach has an affinity for computational hardware, including custom installations, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and more. He can offer timely and efficient solutions for a wide range of software and hardware issues. Whether your needs range from Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization servers or even something as simple as finding out why your monitor won’t turn on, Zach can help.

Mike decided long ago to turn his hobby into a career. He started in the hardware industry and has been working in technology for the last 15+ years. Working at both small and large companies, plus several years of MSP experience, has helped Mike hone his customer service and other special skill sets to flourish in today’s technologically confusing world. In his spare time, you can find Mike rooting for his favorite sports teams, or spending time with his family and friends.

Tony began his career in the US Air Force as a communications analyst which provided a strong analytical foundation for a natural transition into the IT career field. For 25 years now Tony has supported a vast variety of technologies while working in several different IT roles. While the nature of IT requires a technical emphasis, Tony always prioritizes the human side of his work and enjoys working with clients and providing top level customer service. During his free time Tony enjoys spending time with family in addition to pursuing numerous hobbies and recreational activities.

Marta joined the DeKind team as an Accounting Associate in January 2022, specializing in AP/AR and procurement. She was born and raised in Poland, where she graduated University and gained her first work experience in a variety of fields including financial, customer service and engineering. Marta’s previous 6-year administrative experience made her extremely detail oriented with positive, upbeat personality in providing excellent service for growing environments. In her spare time, she likes traveling and playing board games with her husband and their two sons.

Val has a bachelor’s degree in Networking Communications Management from DeVry University. For close to 20 years, Val has supported the technology needs of several well-known financial institutions. Val is a critical thinker with strong problem solving abilities, he enjoys assisting companies with new software and hardware solutions that solve organizational challenges and increase their efficiencies.

With a career spanning 28 years, Jose Salgado is a seasoned IT professional who discovered his passion for technology by accident and never looked back. Jose’s journey is a testament to self-determination and continuous learning.

Jose’s IT adventure began as a self-taught enthusiast, and his commitment to mastering the field led him to earn numerous certifications along the way. These certifications not only validated his expertise but also propelled him forward in the IT landscape. Dedicated to both practical experience and academic growth, Jose pursued higher education, culminating in a Bachelor’s of Science in Network & Communication Management with a Concentration in Cisco Networking Fundamentals. This educational background solidified his technical foundation and broadened his horizons.

Currently, Jose is on a new quest, pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management. This endeavor reflects his dedication to bridging the gap between technology and business, leveraging his IT expertise to excel in project management and organizational leadership.

Nidhi has a Bachelor of Computer Science as well as a Masters of IT Systems and Network Security. Nidhi is a very meticulous individual, she enjoys identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex IT issues.

Arkadiusz is deeply committed to safeguarding people and systems and has a relentless curiosity and eagerness to keep pace with the latest advancements in cybersecurity. When he’s not studying, he enjoys pursuing new hobbies, staying active and spending time outdoors.

Caity brings a strong background in customer service and technical support to her role at DeKind. With experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, she’s passionate about providing thoughtful, efficient solutions to clients. Before working in IT, Caity spent 10 years as an elementary music teacher, where she developed strong communication skills and a creative, adaptable approach to problem-solving. Currently pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, she’s always eager to expand her knowledge. She’s excited to be part of a team that values learning, collaboration, and delivering top-notch IT support.

Chris has dedicated over two decades to mastering the intricacies of systems engineering. His career spans various environments, including civilian, military, and public safety, showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence. Chris has continually demonstrated his proficiency in a wide array of hardware and software platforms, solidifying his reputation as a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional in the IT industry.

Dave brings over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on delivering reliable, efficient technology solutions that help businesses run smoothly. His background spans a wide range of systems, networks, and cloud-based platforms, and he’s passionate about staying current with emerging technologies.

Outside of work, Dave is a husband, a father to five wonderful kids, and a dog owner. Life at home is busy, but it keeps him grounded and reminds him daily of the importance of patience, communication, and adaptability—skills that he brings into every project he works on.

With her degree in educational studies, and years working in a municipal setting, Fran brings understand, patience and a passion to help others to the team. Coming to us with IT sales experience and completed Google’s Helpdesk Support certificates. She works hard to ensure our clients have the perfect combination of technical explanations, perfectly catered hardware and software solutions. Outside the office you can find her crocheting, reading, playing video games, board games or whipping up a new recipe.

With a passion for technology ignited by building my first computer, I have been working in the IT industry for the past five years. My journey into IT began with a hands-on experience that sparked a deep interest in understanding and creating technology solutions. Over the years, I have honed my skills and expertise, contributing to various projects and roles within the field. In my free time, I enjoy fishing and being outdoors.

Kevin holds of a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has been involved in IT for 6 years. Starting at DeKind as a summer intern before his senior year of college, he is excited to return in the Senior Network Engineer role. He has a passion for enterprise and consumer computer systems and working with customers to realize their IT goals. In his free time Kevin enjoys skiing and spending time with his family and friends.

Scott is a former Marine that has always had an interest in IT. Scott has a wide variety of IT experience, which includes municipalities, fire departments, industrial, manufacturing, non-profits, and general business. Scott has earned a degree in Network Security and has received multiple certifications in network administration and cybersecurity. Known for his strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous learning, Scott is eager to contribute to our clients by enhancing infrastructure, streamlining workflows and providing reliable IT support. When Scott is not working with computers, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 dogs.

Sonny is a dedicated network engineer at DeKind Computer Consultants. With over a decade of experience in IT, he has held significant roles in luxury retail and hospitality. At Burberry, Sonny was instrumental in opening their flagship store on Regent Street in London and played a key role in several innovative projects. His tenure at InterContinental Hotels saw him reopening the InterContinental Barclay in New York, serving as IT Director at the InterContinental Times Square, and opening the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.

Sonny has managed diverse teams and environments, showcasing his adaptability and expertise. Outside of work, he is a passionate soccer fan, enjoys playing golf, and loves traveling with his wife.
